LCS CLUB FINALE – 03.03.2017
The finale of the LCS clubs commenced with the entry of dignitaries to the LCS grounds escorted by the students of Band Club with the drum beat. The Eastern Singing Club led us into prayer. Cherian of Class IX welcomed the congregation.
The Vice Principal Ms Belita Mascarenhas briefed importance of the activities of each and every Club and also told that they are unique and important in their own ways. She was proud to tell all gathered that it is only LCS that has 16 Clubs and all students must make best use of them.
The Theatre Club students enacted beautifully a hilarious and humorous play ‘MIND YOUR LANGUAGE’ the first episode of SEASON ONE . It was indeed a treat to our eyes.
The students of Music Club played Guitar, keyboard and sang a song ‘Cold Water’ melodiously.
The Scouts and Guides gave some tips on First Aid and Self defense through a live presentation.
The fusion of classical, contemporary and hip-hop dances was indeed a graceful performance by the Dance Club.
The principal, Rev Fr Robert D’Souza appreciated Ms Chandini Chitraveer, the Asst. Clubs Co-ordinator for uploading the reports of the clubs every week. He also thanked the students and the teachers who took troubles to make the Club Finale a grand success and urged them to plan better for the next academic year.
The Manager Rev Fr Wilson Vitus L D’Souza asked the students to put into practice whatever learnt in the club periods like the visual arts, performing arts, public speaking skills, leadership qualities, team spirit, time management etc.
The spectacular exhibition in the School Auditorium by Art Club, Eco Club, Heritage Club, Philately and Numismatic Club was indeed worth viewing.
Thushar Shivam of Class IX proposed the Vote of thanks. Hats off to the Brilliant Compeers from the Readers’ Club Thushar, Sunil and Winnifred of Class IX.
The Finale concluded with the singing of School Anthem.
