Lourdites celebrated the 11th death anniversary of their founder Late Rev Fr Bernard L D Souza. The assembly was conducted by the students of class 4C under the guidance of Ms. Seema, Sir Ivan Mascarenhas and Sir Roshan Corderio. The 2 comparers Saptha and Deepshika requested Ma’am Shanthi Menezes to pay a Tribute to Late Rev Fr bernanrd L D Souza. As a tribute Ma’am Shanthi recited a beautiful poem composed by the pioneering staff of LCS “The Root that paved the Route” She also said that Lourdes Central School is the outcome of Fr Bernard’s untiring efforts to realize his dream of establishing a school with a difference.
Principal Rev Fr Robert D Souza garlanded the portrait of Late Rev Fr Bernard L D Souza remembering his contribution in establishing a institution like our Lourdes Central School. Later Manager of Lourdes Central School Rev Fr Wilson L Vitus D Souza, Principal Rev Fr Robert D Souza and Vice Principal Mrs. Belita Mascarenhas paid homage by offering flowers on the founder’s grave at the Bejai Church cemetery along with the staff of LCS.
Later to commemorate the founder’s Death Anniversary Lourdes Olympiad was held for the Classes 1 to 11.
