Report –Twin Role Competition
The students of LCS through their determination and creativity had put up a mesmerizing Twin Role Act on 29 July 2016.The Twin Role was organized by the English Department for the students of class 6-10 as a tool for FA-2. The Competition was judged by two prominent personalities Mrs Aarthi Shetty and Mrs Thrupthi Malli who happen to be the parents of our students.
The aims of the Twin Role are to give students an opportunity to
– Use English in a creative and motivating way
– To encourage students to develop their communication skill, acting and power of language and literature
The prelims’ were held on 22 and 23 July as students acted the Twin Role from
• Shakespeare’s plays’- Class X
• Charles Dickens Class IX
• Ruskin Bond Class VIII
• Jataka tales, Panchathantra Tales,
stories of Akbar and Birbal,
Krishnadevaraya and Tenali Rama Class VI and VII
The Principal Rev. Fr. Robert D’souza motivated the students and wished them luck.
The judges appreciated the participants and congratulated the winners. They advised students on do’s and don’ts.
