Mega Medical Exhibition – PRERANA 25

On January 10, 2025, 176 students from Class VII of Lourdes
Central School along with 6 teachers viewed the Mega Medical
Exhibition – Prerana ’25 organized by Fr Muller Homoeopathic
Medical College and Hospital, Deralakatte. The group reached
at the venue at 10:15 a.m. and attended the inaugural
ceremony that just began in an orderly and disciplined manner.
The dignitaries, in their concise and inspiring speeches,
emphasized the omnipresence of science and encouraged the
students to use the exhibition as an opportunity to deepen
their understanding of the scientific world. They also advised
the young audience to prioritize their health, particularly by
avoiding junk food.
Following the ceremony, the students explored various
exhibition stalls featuring sections such as microbiology,
forensic science, anatomy, and more, offering insights into the
fascinating world of medical science. They were particularly
intrigued by displays of real human organs like the brain, heart,
liver, and eyes. The student doctors at the stalls patiently
answered their queries, enhancing the learning experience
with their friendly and approachable demeanor.
The event drew an impressive turnout, with over 7,000
students from schools and colleges across Mangalore visiting
the exhibition.
Overall, the experience was both enlightening and enriching
for the students. The Class VII students and the teachers
extend their heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Johnson Sequeira for
providing them with this wonderful opportunity.
