Re-opening and Fresher’s Day of Kindergarten 2023

Opening day for little Lourdites is fun work and play as the new academic year 2023 – 2024 has begun. It was a memorable and remarkable day on 1st of June2023 for KG2. Our tiny tots of KG2 were all happy to be back at school with a smile on their fresh faces after the summer break. They were received by their respective class teachers with warmth and affection.
The entrance and the classrooms were decorated with flags and colourful balloons which gave them a feeling of an opportunity of building their tomorrow.
Parents along with their kids on 2ndJune, 2023 the KG1 and 5thJune 2023 Pre-KG were welcomed by Fr Principal Rev Fr Robert Dsouza, along with co-ordinator Ms Lydia Dsouza and teachers Ms Lynette, Ms Reshma, Ms. Jennifer, Ms Roshal in the newly built auditorium.
The programme started invoking God’s blessings through a prayer song.
Fr Principal in his address asked the parents to keep their hands on their little ones head to invoke God’s blessings. In his address he requested the parents to be regular and punctual and follow the school rules and discipline. He cited examples of reaching the airport early during our travel. He also told that the parents need not fear for their little ones as they are safe under his team of teachers.
As a memory, a picture was clicked with every student, parent, Fr. Principal and the co-ordinator. The child was handed over to their respective class teacher after the photo session.
The first day of schools journey began for the little ones in LCS with fun and frolic. Smart board, rhymes, play park were used to make them happy. Ice cream were distributed and children were let off at 11.30 am. We could see joy, smile and excited on children faces as they were going home with their parents.
