Republic Day 2025
‘The Indian constitution is unique. It has given an opportunity to every citizen to live a respectful life. The Indian constitution has also given us our rights and duties. It is an important organ of our country. It upholds the values of justice,Liberty, equality and fraternity. We should respect our constitution’ were the words of Rev. Fr. Norman Mathias the assistant parish priest of Bejai Church and the chief guest of the 76th Republic Day Celebrations at Lourdes Central School.
Rev. Fr. Johnson L. Sequeira the principal, Ms Belita Mascarenhas and Ms Anitha Thomas the vice principals graced the occasion. The school choir ‘s melodious patriotic song awakened the spirit of patriotism. The performances by the students were commendable.
Pranamya Kotian welcomed the gathering. Daksha Nayak and Kaneesha shared the significance of the Day. Ridhi Shetty delivered the vote of thanks. The whole program was beautifully compered by Thamanna Prabhu and Aryan.
Ms Pamela Miranda co-ordinated the programme and it was well organised by Ms. Lavina Serrao. Teachers Seema Lobo, Preema Dsouza, Sunita K, Roshan Cordeiro and Roshan Sequeira co-operated. The Republic Day Celebrations at Lourdes Central School was a memorable event that instilled a sense of pride and patriotism in everyone present.
