SESSION BY DQ LABS
Lourdes Central School hosted a talk on career opportunities in the field of design and architecture on 13th April 2018. The talk was conducted by DQ Labs founder Shaun D’sa and Manglorean architect Leanne Rodrigues for the students of class 12. Commencing the mini workshop with an opening address by Yatin Satish of class 12 A, the presentation went into detail about the various intricacies and implications of useful design in our lives and highlighted it’s importance in every field from engineering to health care. Keeping creative philosophy in mind, the workshop ended with a ten minute rapid drawing competition with token Lego sets as rewards to the best shortlisted artists. Rydge Ralph, Shravan Singh, Rogini and Darshan walked off with consolation prizes and Karuna Kini bagged the second prize. Ananya Shetty secured the First prize.
