Lourdes Central School will always hold a special place in my heart. It was here that my curiosity was nurtured and my love for science took root. The school’s balance of academics, values, and co-curricular activities shaped my confidence and all-round growth. The encouragement from teachers to think deeply and explore beyond textbooks continues to guide me today. I am now a researcher in Reproductive Biology and a proud alumnus of Lourdes Central School.

I joined the school in Class 9 — an age when one’s journey truly begins to take shape, and the school shaped mine beautifully. It offered the perfect balance of academics, sports, and culture. One of my favourite memories is scoring the winning goal in the pre-quarters of the Independence Cup — a first in the school’s history. The joy was short-lived, though, when my mother, who taught at the same school, discovered I’d played without telling her — thanks to one of her ever-enthusiastic students! That day, I learnt how quickly glory on the field can turn into a lecture at home.

Lourdes has always held a special place in my heart for the values and confidence it instilled in me. It was a place where learning went beyond books, encouraging creativity and critical thinking. The teachers were supportive, always pushing us to bring out our best. The friendships and memories I made there continue to inspire me even today. Every experience taught me something meaningful about perseverance, and self-belief. Looking back, I’m truly grateful for how Lourdes helped shape my character.

My time at Lourdes gave me a foundation for life, filled with incredible teachers and supportive friends. I’m truly grateful for the invaluable lessons and cherished memories made within its grounds.
