Lourdes Central School successfully conducted the first 2026 – 27 Parent–Teacher Interactive Session for KG 1 and KG 2 parents on 10 June 2026 at the LCS Summit Hall. The programme aimed at strengthening the partnership between parents and educators in nurturing the holistic development of every child.
The Parent–Teacher Interactive Session for KG 1 and KG 2 commenced with a prayer led by Mr. Roshan Cordeiro and team, creating a serene and prayerful atmosphere. Ms. Andrea Coelho extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries, parents, teachers, and students, highlighting the importance of a strong partnership between home and school in nurturing young learners.
While addressing the gathering, the newly appointed Manager, Rev. Fr. Stany Pereira, expressed his appreciation for the dedicated service rendered by Rev. Fr. Johnson L. Sequeira. He also thanked the teaching staff for their commitment to the growth and development of the institution and its students. He encouraged parents to continue placing their trust in the school and assured them of the institution’s commitment to providing quality education and holistic development.
The KG 1 and KG 2 teachers introduced themselves, along with their respective classes, sections, and subjects. The Kindergarten Curriculum Presentation was conducted by Ms. Linette Pereira, Academic Coordinator. She provided an overview of the school’s rich legacy, vision, and achievements, as well as its academic and co-curricular programmes. She also highlighted the school’s focus on holistic development, the Day Care facilities, and the newly renovated Kindergarten Block.
An interactive session followed, during which parents actively shared their suggestions and concerns. The school assured parents that their valuable feedback would be carefully considered. All queries and doubts raised by the parents were addressed by the Academic Coordinator.
In his inspiring address, the Principal, Rev. Fr. Johnson L. Sequeira, warmly welcomed over 60 new parents and more than 40 newly admitted students to the Lourdes family. He emphasized the school’s core values of Love, Compassion, and Service and highlighted the importance of nurturing children’s talents, communication skills, leadership qualities, life skills, and multilingual proficiency in English, Kannada, and Hindi. He encouraged parents and teachers to work together in shaping confident, responsible, and future-ready citizens.

The programme was gracefully compered by Ms. Malini Menezes and concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Lavita D’Souza. The session ended on a positive note, strengthening the bond between parents and the school and reaffirming their shared commitment to the holistic development of every child.
