Parent-Teacher Interactive Session – Class 1-2 2025

The session commenced with a prayer song sung by students of Class 1 and 2, led by Mr. Roshan, in the church hall. Ms. Joshika compered the event.

Ms. Lisa welcomed Fr. Principal, Vice-Principal, Academic Coordinator, staff, and parents. Teachers of Grade 1 and 2, along with subject teachers, introduced themselves.

Ms. Marula and Ms. Lavita provided an overview of the learning activities for the new academic year. Fr. Principal addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between parents and teachers to support students’ academic and personal growth.

He welcomed parents of new students and informed them that, in the absence of the Principal or Vice-Principal, they can approach the Academic Coordinator. Parents can meet students only on Mondays.

Fr. Principal briefed parents on the canteen facility, coupon system, and daycare facility introduced for the new academic year. He also informed them about:

– Rescheduling of let-off time

– Commencement of extracurricular activities on the coming Monday

– Distribution of certificates on L.C.S. Annual Patrons’ Day

– Consideration of 99% attendance as 100%

– Renovated PC labs, innovation lab, and school lobby

Ms. Prajna and her team explained the teaching-learning process of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. Fr. Principal thanked the team and assured parents that no extra fee would be charged.

Mr. Shobith demonstrated the functioning of the school app, addressing parents’ queries. Approximately five parents asked questions about robotics and the school app.

A parent inquired about notification of Dasara holidays; Fr. Principal replied that the management would decide.

The meeting saw a total attendance of 98 parents from Class 1 and 126 parents from Class 2. Fr. Principal conducted the PTE representative voting, and the elected representatives are:

Class 2C: Jayakrishnan (Parent of Kanishk)

Class 2D: Sana (Parent of Ilhan)

Ms. Pamela delivered the vote of thanks, and the session concluded at 9:30 am.
