Lourdes Central School, Bejai, Celebrated Eid Milad on August 24th with the Message of Peace and Generosity.
Celebration began with a meaningful morning assembly conducted by the students of Grade 8D and the Bulbul students. Guided by the profound theme, “In Giving We Grow,” the event beautifully highlighted the timeless virtues of charity, compassion, and community service.
The program commenced with a solemn Universal Prayer, followed by a reverent reading from the Holy Quran and a melodious prayer song. Spreading the core message of the festival, the students performed a thought-provoking skit on humanity, peace, and mutual respect, which was followed by a vibrant, festive dance wishing everyone a joyous Eid Milad.
The School Principal, Rev. Fr. Johnson L. Sequeira, heartily congratulated Grade 8D and the Bulbul students for their beautiful performance and Teachers Ms Raina, Ms Angelina and Ms Revathi for the guidance
In his address, he urged the gathering to become ambassadors of peace, tranquility, and brotherhood, reminding everyone that true personal growth comes from selfless giving. The inspiring assembly concluded with the proud singing of the School Anthem.
