Red Day -KG Section

Lourdes Central School, Kindergarten Section joyfully celebrated Red Day with the Pre-KG students on Saturday, 27th June 2026, under the heartwarming theme “Little Hearts in Red.” The celebration was thoughtfully organized to help the young learners explore and appreciate the colour red through a variety of fun-filled, interactive, and age-appropriate activities, making learning both meaningful and memorable.

The classroom was beautifully adorned with vibrant red decorations, creating a lively ambience. Dressed in charming red attire, the little learners added to the excitement of the day by bringing red-coloured snacks and fruits, making the celebration colourful, joyful, and memorable.

As a part celebration children engaged themselves in hands-on activities that made learning enjoyable and meaningful. The children eagerly took part in a sponge dabbing activity on a heart cut-out, showcasing their creativity while developing their fine motor and hand-eye coordination skills. They also enthusiastically sang action rhymes centred on the colour red. Their active and independent participation reflected growing confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm for learning.

Principal Rev. Fr. Johnson L. Sequeira graced the Red Day celebration with his presence. He warmly interacted with the children by asking them questions about the colour red, and the little ones responded confidently and enthusiastically, making the celebration even more memorable.

The Red Day celebration was a delightful learning experience that helped the children recognize the colour red while encouraging participation, creativity, and joyful learning in a fun-filled environment.
