An AI and Robotics Exhibition was successfully organized by Lourdes Central School on 21/01/2026 & 22/01/2026 to showcase recent advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Smart Technologies. The exhibition aimed to create awareness among students about emerging technologies and their real-world applications. It provided an interactive platform for learning, innovation, and creativity.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Ms Jenevia Andrade, Principal-Business Quality at Infosys Limited. The event was also honoured by the presence of several dignitaries, including Rev. Dr John Baptist Saldanha, Manager, Rev. Fr Johnson L Sequeira , Principal of the institution, Ms Anita Thomas, Vice-Principal , Fr. Arul Joseph ,Section Co-ordinator and Ms Prajna, Project co-ordinator of Amazeheads LLP.
The Objectives of the Exhibition was to introduce students to the fundamentals of AI and Robotics, to demonstrate real-time applications of intelligent systems, to encourage innovation, creativity, and technical skills, to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation.
The exhibition featured 20 working models and demonstrations including: Voice-Controlled Robot using Bluetooth communication, Smart Home Automation System, Agrobot, Automatic Smart Dustbin, Sensor-Based Safety and Security Models.
A total of 160 students were involved. Each project was explained by students, who described the working principle, components used, and real-life applications.
Technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning basics, Microcontrollers such as Arduino, Sensors (IR, Ultrasonic), Bluetooth and wireless communication, Mobile applications for control and monitoring were used.
Staff and students from St. Lawrence School Bondel, Lourdes Aided School and Milagres Central School participated in the exhibition. Parents and Public appreciated the creativity and innovation displayed by the participants. The interactive demonstrations attracted great interest and curiosity among attendees.
The AI and Robotics Exhibition was a great success. It inspired students to explore advanced technologies and motivated them to pursue careers in science, engineering, and innovation. Such exhibitions play a vital role in nurturing future technologists and innovators. Participants gained practical knowledge about How AI systems make decisions, How robots sense, process, and act, Teamwork, problem-solving, and presentation skills, The importance of automation in modern life.
