The Orientation Program for teachers on probation was conducted at Lourdes Central School on 23rd May 2026 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program was organized to guide and motivate teachers in their professional journey.
Ms Neha served as the Master of Ceremonies for the program and conducted the event smoothly. To refresh and energize the participants, an ice-breaking session was coordinated by Ms Marula. The session was truly enthusiastic and interactive.
The program began with God’s blessings led by Ms Angelina and the choir team. This was followed by the welcome address delivered by Miss Mabel D’Souza.
Rev Fr Johnson L. Sequeira addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of punctuality, discipline, classroom management, responsibility, and respect. He explained these values with many meaningful examples that inspired the teachers.
Ms Vidhya Joseph conducted an inspirational session for the teachers. She organized various activities and shared motivational stories, making the session energetic and filled with positive vibes.
The first session concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms Joshna.
The second session began with the welcome address delivered by Ms Shwetha to the resource person, Rev Fr Arun D’Souza. He conducted an informative session on lesson planning, clarity in explanation, student engagement techniques, board work presentation, and questioning skills. His session was enriching, motivating, and highly beneficial for the teachers.
Ms Divina proposed the vote of thanks for the second session.
For the final session, Ms Wilma delivered the welcome address to Dr. Caroline D’Souza. Dr. Caroline D’Souza gave an insightful session on the Indian classroom system and explained the root causes of disruptive behaviour among students. She also guided the teachers on effective classroom management and student behaviour handling techniques, which helped the participants understand how to manage classrooms with confidence and care.
The final session concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms Lavita Dsouza.
Overall, the orientation program was informative, inspiring, and beneficial for all the teachers on probation. It provided valuable guidance, motivation, and practical knowledge for effective teaching and classroom management.
