Class 1 Educational Trip

Lourdes Central School organised a day out to St Aloysius Museum and Gandhi Park, Mangalore, for the students of Class I on Thursday, 8th January 2026.

The trip began at 8:30a.m with an opening prayer by Fr Arul who blessed the students and wished them a safe and joyful journey. The students travelled by the school bus accompanied by their teachers, ensuring safety and discipline throughout the trip.

At St. Aloysius Museum, the students explored the beautiful paintings and learned about art, history, and culture. They were fascinated by detailed artwork and listened attentively as the teachers explained the importance of preserving heritage and thereafter students also visited the chapel with silence, maintaining reverence and discipline.

Later, the group visited Gandhi Park, where the students were served refreshments after which they enjoyed the fresh air and greenery. They spent time observing nature, playing games, and interacting joyfully with their friends.
The Principal, Rev Fr Johnson Sequeira pleasantly surprised the students by joining the group, spending time with them and sharing in their joy.
The visit helped them relax and appreciate the beauty of the environment.

The outing was safe, and informative. It provided a perfect blend of learning and recreation, making the day memorable for everyone.
The students returned to school happily with new experiences and wonderful memories.
