The school organized a Parent-Teacher Meeting for Grades 7 and 8 on June 6, 2026 in the school summit hall. The event was masterfully compered by Ms. Lavina Serrao and Ms. Diana Dsilva warmly welcomed the gathering.
The School Manager Rev. Fr. Stany Pereira addressed the audience, expressing deep appreciation for the impressive turnout. He noted that the large attendance of parents reflects the parents’ profound trust in the institution and their eagerness to collaborate for the school’s upliftment. Emphasizing that parents and teachers are equal stakeholders in the intellectual, spiritual, and all-round growth of the children, he thanked everyone for keeping the school flag flying high. Following this, the respective class teachers introduced their grades.
Academic Coordinator Ms. Suneetha provided a comprehensive bird’s-eye view of the 2026-27 academic year. Her briefing covered:
• Academics, internal assessments, and the assessment of scholastic/co-scholastic subjects.
• The Three-Language Policy, Computational Thinking (CT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• School diary guidelines, remedial academic support classes, and digital communication platforms.
NCC Coordinator Mr. Shreyas introduced the school’s NCC program under the 18 Battalion Army Wing. Highlighting benefits like character building and a clearer pathway to joining the National Defence Academy (NDA) and encouraged parents to support their children’s enrolment.
During the Q&A session, parents voiced concerns regarding the language policy.
The Principal Rev Fr Johnson L Sequeira addressed the gathering, welcoming 46 new parents to Grades 7 and 8. He assured parents that students learning third language for the first time would be guided at a foundational level.
Aligning with the school theme, “Year of Love, Compassion, and Service,” the Principal urged parents to actively listen to and nurture their children through their rapid physical, emotional, and intellectual growth. He also highlighted new updates, including:
• The fencing of corridor walls for student safety.
• The introduction of a new GK book in collaboration with Greycaps.
• Guidelines regarding the school uniform jacket.
The meeting proceeded to the election of the Parent-Teacher Executive Committee (PTEC) members. The following parents volunteered to be the members of PTEC – 2026-2027.
