Admission is open to all children irrespective of caste, creed, religion or region, subject to rules of LCS. Prospectus with application from for admission can be collected from the office. Admissions to Kindergarten Classes commences in January itself. Children aged 3½ years only will be eligible for admission for kindergarten 1 (KG 1). Parents should note that the date of birth entered in the school records will remain the same throughout the academic career of the student. At the time of admission to class 1, the child should be 5½years as on 31st May of that year. Original Date Of Birth Certificate has to be submitted compulsorily along with the application duly signed by parent or guardian for admission to any class. Regular attendance of class is a condition for promotion. A student will not be promoted to the next higher class if her/his attendance falls below 75%. Parents who seek admission or transfer admission are requested to contact the Principal directly and are advised not to come through any third person. This caution is necessitated to prevent anyone from taking advantage of the situation by collecting money purportedly for the school. Parents are warned against such possibilities and are requested to inform the Principal if there is any such attempts from anywhere. It is also made clear that any attempt to influence the decision of the school authorities in the matter of admission will result in the disqualification of the candidate concerned. Admission to LCS is a privilege and not a right. The management reserves the right to deny admission to any one without giving any reason.

Re-Admission

If the name of a student is struck off roll due to any reason, her/his re-admission entirely depends on the discretion of the Principal and availability of seat if re-admission is allowed.

Transfer admission

CLASS XI :

A candidate who has completed the All India Secondary School Examination, conducted by the CBSE, New Delhi or its equivalent like ICSE, SSLC is eligible for admission, provided he/she has a consistent good academic record. There will be no entrance test, as admission is based on the candidates Class X performance. Transfer Certificate counter signed by the education authorities should be submitted at the time of admission.

CLASS X and XII :

If there are vacancies, admissions will be made on the basis of an Enterance Test. All other conditions are as shown under the caption ADMISSION.

Evaluation and Promotion:

Regular Tests, monthly tests and terminal examinations are held each year and promotion is based on total performance at these tests and exams and regular attendance.

Study support:

In order to support learning, beyond the school day, we run study support session. Teacher freely gives their time to help students with difficult concepts. LCS is interested in providing additional facilities for slow or weak learners to acquire the needed skills. However, the school strongly discourages the practice of excessive home work, rote-leaning, special tuition etc.
