This year too has been a delightful year as we began with the declaration of our 100% results of Class X and XII.  The phenomenal results brought much joy and happiness to the Lourdite family.  We thank the Lord Almighty and our Lady of Lourdes “Mother Mary” for the abundant blessings bestowed on our school and pray that our school will continually be under their protection and we will always be blessed.

Our days progressed in the great ease and zeal as all our intended projects were completed with meticulous and precise planning.  To mention a few prominent ones, some yearlong and some periodic.Being true environmentalist the year long project. “Swachatha Jayanthi” was implemented with earnest efforts by both staff and students.  It included smaller built in activities like “Crusaders of greener environment”, “Zero plastic campus”, “Conservation of trees”    by plantation drive which brought about positive changes in the minds of the students heralding them to be true Nature Lovers and soldiers of the Earth.

The other significant activity was the memorable Educational trip to Japan.  To have international exposure and practical learning experiences, we enjoyed this world exposure of Japan where students individually and independently viewed and learnt different aspects of life in Japan.  It was truly a world class experience of learning and enjoyment. We are indeed truly fortunate to have such ambitious students and progressive parents who avail such in house activities of the school.  We were happy also to receive our International School Award from British Council.  The ISA project which began in June also brought students to learn about the Global international scenario.

Our keen interest in helping people in our district has always been our priority. This year too we have extended our help to the needy and some of it has been done through the Birthday fund and other donations done in kind that are donated by our generous students.  We thank and appreciate the generosity of such benevolent parents who instill these qualities in their wards.

I would like to thank our Bishop Most Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha and Rev Fr Antony Shera, secretary CBE, Rev Fr Wilson L Vitis D’ Souza, Manager LCS for their unfailing support and genial co operation.  The year had an unexpected denouement with the nation being engulfed with uncertainty but we hope and pray all would be well soon. Our Lady of Lourdes-Our school Patroness Pray for us.

Rev Fr Robert D’Souza
