Open House- Midterm- 2024

“At the end of the day, the most significant key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents.”

On October 19, 2024, School hosted its Open House to interact with parents about the performance of the students in the first term examination for classes I to XII. The event began with a heartfelt prayer led by the Principal, Rev. Fr Johnson L. Sequeira, who emphasized the importance of positive engagement between teachers and parents. He encouraged staff to approach conversations with parents through a lens of optimism and solution-oriented strategies.

In his introductory note he said that positive vibes can create positive atmosphere.

During the session, parents had the opportunity to meet with both class and subject teachers to discuss their children’s academic progress. The teachers provided valuable insights into each student’s strengths and areas where additional effort was needed, fostering a collaborative environment focused on student growth.

The ambience of the school was set so as to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, with engaging captions all around. The Vice Principal, Ms. Belita Mascarenhas and Ms Anita Thomas held special discussions with parents of students who needed guidance, addressing academic challenges and strategizing ways to enhance performance in the upcoming examinations. Parents had an opportunity to meet the Principal to express their concern about the children. 

Overall, the Open House was a productive and positive experience for parents, having shared their concerns about their children and participated in constructive discussions about their progress. 

The session concluded at 12.00 noon, marking a successful collaboration between home and school in support of student achievement.
