LCS CLUB REPORT ~ 06-08-2016

Reader’s Club:
Teacher in charge conducted Quiz between class IX and class X students. Group discussion was held among students to express their views about the books they read.
Chess Club:
Students were distributed group wise and they were actively engaged in playing chess.
Dance Club:
Videos were played in the A.V. Room. Students learnt steps of ‘Cham Cham’ dance.
Guides:
Guides were trained ‘Guard of Honour’ for Independence Day. Teachers trained them to stand in horse shoe position.
Maths Club:
Class VI solved pair of linear equations. Class IX and X solved worksheet on completing the series.
Scouts:
Scout Master took practice for ‘Guard of Honour’ for Independence Day.
Numismatics:
Videos were shown on valuable coins of United States. Teacher guided the students in systematic arrangement of stamps.
Band:
Band Master instructed tunes to be played for ‘Independence Day’ and also taught March past beats and General salute beats.

Astronomy Club:
Group activity was conducted. Ten words were written on the blackboard.
Letters of alphabet were cut from newspapers and words were formed on chart.
Art Club:
Varieties of painting were shown by the art teacher. Students completed their art work.
Theatre Club:
Students read tongue twisters. Students of different classes performed skit to display their skill. Students of class X played ‘Replica of a Drama Class’.
Heritage Club:
Students made charts on monuments of Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Gujarat etc.
Cubs:
Cub’s revised -Cubs law and promise and also practiced cubs Prayer.
Eco Club:
In order to learn more about plants students were maer to memorise names of some fruits, plants and vegetables.
Music Club:
Music teacher practiced –Vandemataram and Patriotic song -Ye Jo Desh Mera.
Kannada prayer song -Hattira Veru.
Eastern Singing Club:
Teachers practiced –Zindagi ki yahi reth and mera mulk mera desh songs.

During Club Activity period on 16-07-2016 Shainil and Joshal of Eco Club had made around 30 paper envelopes and contributed it to Medplus at Kapikad, Bejai.The chemist of Medplus appreciated them for their generous contribution.
