Kindergarten Convocation Day 2016

‘Graduation is an exciting time. It’s both an ending and a beginning. It is the warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future.’
The convocation day of the Kindergarten section was held on 30th March, 2016 in the school roof top.
Tiny tots, tiny toes…
Dressed up in little itty-bitty graduation clothes marched down the isle along with their teachers and guests.
The programme was graced by our Manager Rev Fr Wilson Vitus D’Souza, Principal Rev Fr Robert D’Souza and the Chief Guest Ms. Uma Shrikanth.
The venue glittered with the smiles of tiny tots reflecting the glint in the eyes of their eager and proud parents.
The event of the auspicious day began with a prayer song ‘I worship’. The guests and parents were genially welcomed by the little graduates of KG2. Principal Rev Fr Robert D’Souza, introduced the esteemed chief guest Ms Uma Shrikanth, School Counsellor, to the mammoth gathering. On behalf of all the little graduates three students Rovina Andrade, Varnika Gatty and Shriyana Mallya shared their experiences at LCS Kindergarten and thanked the management, teachers and the ancillary staff for all the support and encouragement that they received during the 2 years of their Kindergarten life.
Ms Lovelita Monteiro, Ms Lovina Lobo and Ms & Mr Melwin Fernandes shared their views and joyous experiences of the past 2 years at LCS Kindergarten. Then the little graduates were conferred with the Graduation Certificates by the Chief Guest, the Principal and the President of the function .
Addressing the parents the Chief Guest Ms. Uma Shrikanth spoke about the significance of the role of parents in helping the children ‘grow and bloom’ . The President of the function Rev Fr Wilson Vitus L D’Souza was impressed by the performance of the children and in his Presidential address he told that parents should love their children unconditionally as each child is unique and expressed his appreciation and thanked the entire team of Kindergarten for their hard work, dedication and commitment towards making the event a memorable one!
The epic event came to its culmination when the students of KG2 proposed the vote of thanks followed by the School Anthem.
The programme was compered by Ms Joyce Menezes and Ms Juliet Lobo in a great style..
