Vanamahotsava was celebrated in LCS on 7th July 2015 during the school assembly. The programme was compered by Ananya of Class 7B. It began by invoking God’s blessing over the occasion through a prayer which was followed by highlighting the theme of the day, ‘Grow green, live green’.

The significance of the day was given by Pramitha of Class 7B. To stress on the need to plant trees and their role in our lives a skit was enacted by the students of Eco Club. A musical rendition on the days importance was sung by the school choir.
The principal Rev Fr Robert D’souza then addressed the students sending a message to plant trees and love nature.
