Interactive Session 2019-20 : Class VII

The interactive session for the parents of class VII was held on 7th June 2019 in the AV room between 8:15 am to 9:15 am. The session began by invoking God’s blessings.The gathering was welcomed by Ms.Rekha Naveen, the class teacher of VIIA. The class teachers and the subject teachers introduced themselves by mentioning the classes they teach. Ms.Anita Thomas briefed the school rules and code of conduct through a Powerpoint presentation. Ms.Gretta Menezes, the exam co-ordinator of Classes VI-X highlighted important points on examination and evaluation system.
Parents came out with few suggestions regarding academics and behaviour for which alternatives were discussed. The Parent Representatives were chosen for the academic year 2019-2020. Ms.Seema, Mr.Sanjeev Pooja,Ms.Roopa and Ms.Sujatha D’souza volunteered as Parent Representatives for classes VIIA,VIIB,VIIC and VIID respectively.
The School Principal addressed the gathering and spoke about mutual respect among parents, teachers and students and expressed his expectation of a mobile-free campus. He asked parents to meet teachers only on Mondays and develop reading habit among students for at least 2 hours regularly. He stressed on reducing pollution and protecting the environment by carpooling and taking up ‘Go Green’ initiative. The Vice Principal focused on the importance of remedial education for all the students.
The session concluded at 9:15am with the words of gratitude by Ms.Seema Madtha, the class teacher of VIIC.
