Birthday Celebration of Principal Rev Fr Robert D’souza 29/03/2021
Life should not only be lived it should be celebrated.
Today wasan auspicious day at Lourdes as we celebrate the birthday of our Dynamic Principal Fr Robert D’Souza. To set the tone for celebration we gathered at our school Lobby at 8:00a.m to greet our Principal. We had with us our manager Rev Dr John Baptist Saldanaha, Asst Priest Pramod Crasta, Rev Fr Vishwas Joy Misqiuth, Mr Ashok Pinto, Vice president and Secretary Mrs Preethi Gomes, Bejai parish Parishad, Management Committee members and Belita Mascarenhas Vice Principal of Lourdes Central school Bejai. Tiara of Class VIII welcomed the gathering warmly. Tanishka Dharmaraj of class VIII wished Father on this occasion saying that we are grateful for whatever he has done and wishedhim a long life filled with love, joy, and happiness.
Ms Vidya Joseph appreciated and admired Father Principal for influencing each one’s life positively with good works and ethics and said he was a priceless treasure to us and thanked him for making this school a productive and happy place. Radiant flower bearing plants were offered on this occasion wishing father another year of fostering, optimism and confidence.
Rev Dr John Baptist Saldahna the manager spoke on this occasion Fr Principal is a solely dedicated to the Lourdite family, disciplined life style, tactful in dealing with parents, students, workers and so on. Fr Manager thanked Father for climbing the ladder of success through his dynamic leadership and wished him well.
The students of LCS wished Father Principal with their melodious singing and prayed to God that he may have laughter in his life and find peace and happiness in everything he did. Our Vice Principal Ms Belita Mascarenhas thanked the gathering and each one who contributed the success of the programme, she portrayed the eventful journey of fr Principal’s activities during this challenging times. Rishon and Nidhi of class VII compeered the programme meticulously.
At noon at the staff gathered in the AV room to greet Fr Principal and for a fellowship meal. Ms Preethi welcomed the dignitaries and Ms Anita Thomas gathering all the sentiments of LCS Staff wished and thanked Father Principal on the occasion. Beautiful birthday wishing song was sung by the staff of LCS on this remarkable day. Class X students performed a foot tapping dance to enhance the celebration. Father Principal too thanked each and everyone being the part of his life and part of the celebration. The programme was followed by the sumptuous meal and smile of gratitude on all staff for the bond of togetherness.
