Birthday Celebration of Rev. Fr Johnson L Sequeira –Principal LCS

On 10th August, Lourdes Central School celebrated Our Principal’s birthday, which actually falls on 11th August. The birthday celebration of our beloved Principal, Rev Fr Johnson L Sequeira was a memorable event. The Manager of LCS Rev Dr John Baptist Saldanha presided over the programme. Rev Fr Norman Mathias-Asst Parish Priest, Bejai Parish, Mr Ashok Pinto- The Vice President of Bejai Pastoral Parishad, the Secretary Ms Avitha Pinto , Vice Principals Ms Belita Mascarenhas and Ms Anita Thomas graced the event by their presence.
The birthday celebration commenced with a short programme during the morning assembly in the school lobby.
The programme began with a soulful prayer song, setting a reverent tone for the occasion. Following the prayer song the intentions were offered for the good health and success of our loving Principal. Nived Ragesh of class IX welcomed the distinguished guests and everyone present for the celebration.
On behalf of the entire student community Joshma Rodrigues of Class IV greeted Fr Principal highlighting the positive impact the Principal has had on the students and the school community. The highlight of the event was the cake-cutting ceremony, during which the choir serenaded the Principal with a lively birthday song, which filled the school with joy and cheer .
The Manager Rev Dr John Baptist Saldanha, in his address extended his best wishes to the Principal, expressing hope and encouragement for his future endeavours. He appreciated the Principal for being so patient and a good listener.
The Principal Johnson L Sequeira expressed his heartfelt thanks and shared his feelings with all the members of the community. He requested everyone to pray for him so that he will be able to take right decisions as a Principal.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Aryan Pai of Class XI acknowledging the efforts of all those who contributed to make the day special.
In the afternoon Fr Principal was greeted by the Management committee members, teaching and non teaching staff with a short programme in the AV room with felicitation and singing. The fellowship meal arranged by the Principal added a special touch to the occasion. The celebration was a true reflection of unity and respect within our school community and a fitting tribute to a Principal who is admired by all.
