Career Guidance Programme- Commerce Stream
A career guidance session was held for classes 11 and 12 Commerce batch on 13th June,2022. The resource person for the day was Mr Manoj Louis, Assistant professor, Department of Commerce & Management, Government First Grade College, Kavoor, Mangalore. Session started with a welcome address by Ms Gowri Ravi.
Mr Manoj began with his presentation, by making the students realize that the basic idea of choosing a career, should be a “CALL” from within. He explained that “CALL” stands for Conceptual Clarity, Analysis, Lots of Hard Work and Little bit of Luck.
The resource person briefed the students about the three stages of CA course:
1. CA Foundation
2. CA Intermediate
3. CA Final
He explained each of these stages, their respective subjects and marks allocation in detail.
The resource person addressed the questions and clarified the doubts students had. The session concluded with Vote of Thanks, proposed by Neha Sing of Class 12C.
