The beauty of our Nation
To celebrate the date in which our constitution of India came into effect on 26th January 1950. LCS has organized this small meaningful programme for the little ones. The programme started invoking God’s blessings through a prayer song sung by the children of KG1 and KG2. MsMalini gave a brief introduction of the programme.
Children roped the role of different National leaders like Dr. B R Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Bhagat Singh, Jhansi Ki Rani. They spoke about these leaders in their simple way.
Rochelle Andrade highlighted on the importance of Republic Day. Students of KG1 and KG2 got us connected to our rich heritage and culture of our country through their lively dance.
Stories of the birth of our Nation, its struggles, its triumphs and its rich values were depicted through the medley on patriotic song.
The Young Talent Search – Play Dough Modelling Activity was conducted for the KG1 and KG2 children. Topics like Fruits / Vegetables, Story / Scenery were given. The children beautifully with their little hands at work created a great show on this. Fr. Principal honoured the winners of this Play Dough Modelling Activity. He gave us a beautiful message telling Patriotism means not only showing love for the country, but the love for each other, the thought of caring, sharing with neighbours is the greatest Patriotism. He thanked the parents for supporting the School, Management and staff in everything they do. He appreciated the hard work of the parents, students and teachers. He also told that parents that this is a small glimpse of the show given by LCS and the greater show will be followed shortly.
A gratitude note was expressed by Ma’am Malini who also compered the whole programme. The programme ended by thanking each one and also asking everyone to strive for the peace and prosperity of our nation that makes us hold our heads high and be proud of our Country India.
