Class 3 Picnic to Pilikula Heritage Village

Lourdes Central School had organized a day’s picnic for class III to Pilikula Heritage Village on 25-02-2023 to enhance creativity of art in students.
A total of 159 students along with 11 staff under the guidance of Principal Rev.Fr Robert D’souza assembled in the school ground at 9:00 am for the prayer and instructions and boarded the school bus. Children enjoyed singing songs in the bus and reached the venue safely at 9:50am. The students had biscuits, juice and sweets provided by the school.
Students witnessed techniques of making beaten rice, pots, weaving of clothing preparation of cane chairs, oil extracting etc. Students were given lunch and relaxed for sometime and were allowed to have free play and headed back to school at 2:00 p.m.
The students gathered in front of the school lobby, thanked Principal, staff and parents for their support the students were handed over to their parents.
