Our school is renowned for imparting all round quality education to its pupils.  Among other activities, regular excursions andtrips  are being organised. The school had organised adays Educationaland Recreational Trip for ClassVIII on 13thJanuary2023 to  JOHN’S  Water Park,Karkala. The three Private buses were fully packed with 146 students accompanied with 7 staff members.  We left at 8:00am after a Prayer lead by our Principal,  Rev Fr Robert Dsouza; and reached our  destination at 9:30 am. Our cheerful students were exceedingly animated and sang songs in the bus till they reached the venue.

We were welcomed by the staff of the Park, and students were amazed to see the greenery and beauty of  Nature. Students freshened  up and neatly kept their belongings at the place provided for them. The group photograph motivated students to beat the clock which was followed by a delicious breakfast.

After a short tour around the water park, studentswere extremely thrilled and lost no time to change clothes and jump into the swimming pool. There was rain dance  where the students could not resist to show their talents. The water slides, artificial waterfall, landing pool, water fountain mushroom was the attraction and students enjoyed to the fullest. After a tiring and fun packed morning, grace before meals were said and students headed for lunch. The dining hall filled with the aroma of food triggered everyone’s hunger and we all relisheddifferent items of food followed by an ice cream. The lunch was surely appetizing .After relaxing, and playing with balls and fresbies, students once again had a go at  the pool. They hada lovely time playing in the water especially on the slides. Pictures were taken where the students modelled in different poses.

At 3:30 pm, students were served beverage and snacks and it was time to head back. Students all lined up for  attendance and after a brief vote of thanks,  the Universal Prayer was said. The buses started the homeward journey at 4 :00 pm and reached the school campus at5:40 pm . The parents had already been waiting for their children.

Indeed it was a great day for all the students and all  had a big smile on their faces. It was a fruitful day as students learnt to be independent, maintain cleanliness around them, take care of their belongings and more importantly, it strengthened the bond between the students and their teachers.
