Class 9 Picnic To River Roost Resort

“Take time to do what makes your soul happy.” It’s not all about being a bookworm, it’s about taking time to let go off the stress that’s overpowering you.

The School had organized a day’s picnic for class IX on Saturday, 17 December 2022 to River Roost Resort, Mudushedde, Vamanjoor. This glorious day began with a prayer and briefing of instructions by the Principal Rev. Fr Robert DSouza, followed by boarding the bus at 8.15 a.m. Not a single soul could contain their excitement as the bus headed closer and closer to the destination. Thrill was in the air. As the students stepped into the Resort, they were filled with awe looking at the lush greenery and picturesque view around them. Students were delighted seeing a variety of unique birds like emu, turkey, duck and many more. First they were served a sumptuous breakfast after which the students explored the place, availing the benefits. There was an exciting and impressive obstacle course that attracted everyone there. Students spent the morning indulging in several indoor and outdoor games like badminton, table tennis, basketball and the like. A house wise game of tug of war was organized to bring out the students’ sportsmanship. After relishing a mouth-watering lunch, came the most awaited part – pool time. It was time to hit the water and let it drown our worries. We also had an enthusiastic rain dance session with some of the most trending music. Soon, it was time to leave, something nobody wanted to do. Prachi proposed the vote of thanks. We thanked the Almighty for being with us, then began our drive back to school and reached at 5.30 p.m. It was indeed a day packed with fun and frolic.
