Freshers’ Day 2022

On 6th June 2022 the Freshers’ Day was celebrated at Lourdes Central School. The students of class XII conducted the assembly in the school lobby. The programme was compered by Leann Preetal Aquinas and Prithika Frith Pinto.

The programme began with Universal prayer followed by the prayer song, by the school choir. Intentions were read out prayerfully by Anika Jagdeesh Shetty.

A motivational thought for the day was presented by Aaryan Srivastav.

Amna Javed welcomed the gathering especially the freshers of class XI, all the newly admitted students and the new staff.

A magnificentclassical welcome dance was performed by Carol Lauren Menezes, Nidhi K, Sai Prathiksha K and Srishti M Kille.

The Principal, Rev Fr Robert D’souza extended his heartfelt welcome to more than three hundred freshers. He motivated them and wished them a happy stay in LCS striving towards excellence in learning and a fruitful academic year.

The Manager, Rev Dr John Baptist Saldanha encouraged the Lourdites to make the newcomers comfortable and to work as a team to reach greater and newer heights. He motivated students to respect punctuality and the schedule of the school and to shine in every type of extracurricular activity.

The programme ended on a positive note with the School Anthem.
