Health of Women- Session for the staff
“A sound mind in a sound body”
With an aim to bring an awareness on “Health of Women” a session for the teachers of Lourdes Central School was organized by the School Management on 25th January 2022. The renowned Gynecologist of Mangaluru Dr Sharon Deepthi Rasquinha addressed the teachers on health issues and the curative measures that could be taken by the teachers. Vice Principal Ms Belita Mascarenhas welcomed and introduced the resource person to the participants. Ms Apoline Lobo and Ms Lydia DSouza felicitated DrRasquinha with a shawl and flowers.
She stressed on the importance of maintaining the mental health in order to keep everyone happy around us. She emphasized on the life style modification by following healthy diet, exercise and regular body checkups. She also briefed the participants about various types of Cancer, its causes and preventive measures.
The session was very informative and the teachers gained a lot of knowledge on preventive measures for healthy living from the session. Special thanks to our Principal Rev Fr Robert D Souza for organizing this informative talk on health issues. Ms Sangeeta Salins proposed the vote of thanks.
