INTERACTIVE SESSION OF CLASS 1  2019-20

Increased parental involvement in education through parent-teacher interactive sessions is very good initiative for the progress of the school. The first interactive session of class 1 for the year 2019-20, commenced in the morning at 8:15 a.m. in the audio visual room.  The session started by the MC Ms Francisca Class teacher of class  1A asking everyone to be in a prayerful position when the prayer song was sung by the class 1 students. The welcome speech was conveyed by Ms Pamela, class teacher 1C, the teachers introduced themselves to the parent community.

Soon after that, the discipline incharge Ms Anita Thomas explained the Rules and Regulations of the school. Ms Sunitha, the exam coordinator of class 1 to V explained about the students assessment.

There after parent representatives for class 1 A B C D for the new academic year were elected by the Vice Principal Ms Belita Mascarehnas and Principal Rev Fr Robert D Souza congratulated the new parent representative team and he also felicitated the 3 parents who choose the first row to sit during the interactive session.

In his speech Principal Fr Robert D Souza said the class 1 students are to be taken care by their parents lovingly. He also requested the parents to not to leave their wards in the care of nannies as children are precious. Parents should make some time to listen to their wards. He urged the parents to keep the campus, mobile free, adhere to the parking rules and encouraged car pooling.

Principal also requested the parents to encourage their wards to study for one hour once they are at home along with playing and resting. Parents were compulsorily asked to carry their valid ID card when they visit the school campus.

Finally Principal motivated the parents and teachers to prepare the students not only in academics but in their overall development. The session concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms Asharitha, class teacher 1C.
