INTERACTIVE SESSION II – CLASS IX
The Interactive Session for Class IX was held on 6th January 2020 in the Roof Top Auditorium at 8.15 am. The session commenced with a prayer song sung by the students of Class IX. Ms Harshitha Shetty welcomed the Principal, Vice Principal, parents, students and teachers. All Subject Coordinators briefed about their academic subjects and gave tips for Annual Examination. Ms Gretta Menezes explained the examination schedule for Class IX.
The Principal Rev. Fr Robert D’Souza addressed the parents and urged them on the following points:
- Students to be prompt in their work and notes submission, and to be stress free.
- Students to put in atleast 3-4 hours of study everyday.
- The school has a good support system of wonderful parents, teachers,
counsellor and nurse to guide and give postive strokes to the students.
- To make a time table and keep up to it – where there is a will, there is a way.
- To maintain their health, drink enough water everyday and have nutritious
food.
- At Lourdes, remedial classes is an opportunity for the students to sit with the
teacher on a one-to-one basis.
The Principal expressed that class IX is an excellent batch, in spite of participating in cultural or sports competitions, they have faired well in academics. He added that if they want to come out in flying colours, they have to start today, and encourage and motivate one another in studies. He concluded with God’s blessings to keep the students safe and perfect from all distractions and to perform the task ahead of them.
The Interactive Session ended with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms Shaila Pereira. Ms Dilla Colaco compered the programme.
