Kindergarten Convocation Day 2022
Growing up has just begun… Now I am ready for grade one!
Kindergarten convocation day was celebrated on 31st March as it is an exciting milestone for pre-primary children as it’s their first step towards a future full of hopes and possibilities. It marks a new beginning that adds new dimensions to their school life and the journey they begin towards knowledge and education.
The Manager Rev. Dr. John Baptist Saldanha, Principal Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza, Vice Principal Ms. Belita Mascarenhas, and the chief guest, Psychologist, Dr Bhagyashree Bhandary graced the occasion.
The program began with a prayer song by the Kindergarten students, followed by welcoming, introducing the dignitaries on the dais by the KG coordinator Ms. Lydia D Souza. The chief guest was felicitated by Fr Manager Rev. Dr. John Baptist Saldanha and Principal Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza.
The chief guest Dr Bhagyashree Bhandary brought awareness among the parents about the harmful effects of gadgets and the behavioural issues they cause to their children. She also asked the parents to spend more time with their children and be a role model to their little ones. The little onesgrow into the character which they build in their childhood days.
The president and the Manager Rev Dr John Baptist Saldanha addressed the gathering by reminding the parents about sharing and caring which begin in the family.
Mr Kamelesh Shenoy, Dr Shaweez, and Dr Elvis Rodrigues shared their views and experiences of the past two years at LCS Kindergarten. They congratulated the management, Principal and staff for the successful running of the Kindergarten during the pandemic in the online and offline mode.
The little Lourdites looked graceful with their convocation caps and hats as they were welcomed by loud applause from the audience as they received their certificates. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for the little ones as they received their convocation certificates from our dignitaries.
Expression of gratitude towards the teachers, parents and staff was shown by the little ones by singing the graduation song, “Two little word, not good bye”.
