KINDERGARTEN PARENT TEACHER INTERACTIVE SESSION

INTERACTIVE SESSION OF KG 1 AND 2   2019-20

“At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents”

The first interactive session of KG section for the year 2019-20 commenced at 8:30 a.m. in the LCS AV room.

The session was chaired by Principal Rev Fr Robert D Souza and Vice Principal Ms Belita Mascarenhas was present. The programme began with the prayer song sung by the students under the guidance of Mr.Roshan Corderio and Ms Vivian. Ms Prema Menezes ushered the parents and the KG coordinator Ms Lydia D Souza welcomed them all. The teachers introduced themselves to the parent community. Soon after Ms Lynette Pereira presented a PPT on the activities, programmes and projects to be conducted during the academic year. There after election for the parent representatives of KG 1 and 2 was conducted by Vice Principal Ms Belita Mascarenhas and Ms Metilda Pinto.

The Principal and the Vice Principal congratulated the new parent representative team. The following parents were elected –

KG1

B-         Ms Soumya Shetty

C-         Mr Nirmith Shetty

KG-2

A-        Mr Krishna Murthy

B-         Ms Reena Lobo

C-         Ms Ashwini Puthran Furtado

In his speech the Principal stressed that parents should make some time to listen to their wards once they reach home. He motivated the parents and teachers to prepare the students not only in academics but in their overall development. He highlighted on the topics of car pooling to avoid traffic congestion, no mobile zone inside the campus, no bag day for Saturdays, no homework, only practice work. He also motivated the parents specially the mothers to prepare healthy tiffins which will benefit their children in the long run.

The session concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms Lavita D Souza.

Mr Roshan Sequeira captured some memorable movements and the entire session was compared by Ms Metilda Pinto.
