Motivational Talk on Positivity – 07.01.2021
‘Intelligence in education is the ability to adapt to a new change.’
To motivate the students on their coming back to school after the pandemic, a talk on positivity was held for classes X and XII at Lourdes Central School on 7th January 2021. The session began by invoking God’s blessings.
The Principal Rev. Fr Robert D’Souza greeted the students with a thought on positivity. Ms Vidhya Joseph welcomed the gathering. Ms Bindiya introduced the resource person Dr Rashmi Rasquinha, ENT surgeon and Nutrition Therapist.
Dr Rashmi Rasquinha started the session with a positive note saying that we are here to start a new normal with a big change. She briefed about the symptoms of covid-19. She cautioned the students about the spread of the pandemic, benefits of wearing mask, and proper way of washing hands with soap and to maintain social distance. She created awareness about the different types of covid tests. She encouraged the students to stay mentally grounded, to avoid junk food and to exercise regularly to boost their immunity. She concluded with an advice to the students about the value of time. Ms Janaica proposed the vote of thanks. The Vice Principal Mrs Belita Mascarenhas Coordinated the programme.
