Orientation for Class 12 Students 13.09.2021

Lourdes Central School started offline classes for class 12 from 13th September 2021 to enhance the academic excellence of the students. The students came to school by producing the Parents’ consent letter and by adhering to the SOP guidelines. Parents and students had attended a Zoom meeting on 7th September 2021 by Dr Paul G Aquinas to prepare them to attend online classes and exams.

Orientation programme was organised for the students on the re-opening day in the school A V Room. Mr Ivan and team raised our hearts and minds to God Almighty with a prayer song. The prayerful ambience continued with the intercessory prayers by Ms Sharmila Colaco.The Higher Secondary Coordinator Ms Roshini Jose welcomed the gathering.

Ms Shreelatha PV encouraged the students to overcome obstacles with a positive mind. Ms Gowri Ravi narrated a short story whose moral is to use all obstacles as opportunities to improve oneself. She also shared a few tips like ‘To love what you do’, ‘Not to limit yourself ‘ and ‘To finish what you start’. Ms Anita Thomas reminded the students about the school’s rules and regulations and also the covid protocol to be followed.

The Principal Rev. Fr. Robert D’souza showed a short video with the message that we all need to enthuse ourselves and people around us with hope and enthusiasm by playing if need be the ‘battle drums ‘ so that we can overcome all difficulties. He encouraged students to have positive mind and enthusiasm in life.  He stressed on to concentrate on studies and prepare well for the upcoming competitive exams.

Ms Janaica Fernandes compered the programme with grace and confidence. Ms Sharmila Colaco proposed the vote of thanks.
