Parent-Teacher Interactive Session – II for classes 9-12

Parent-Teacher Interactive Session – II for classes IX, X, IX and XII was held on 6th January and 7th January 2023 in the Roof Top Auditorium at 8.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. respectively.
The programme began with the Prayer Song led by the School Choir. The Welcome Address was delivered by MsHarshithaShetty, MsLinet D’Souza and Ms Gowri Ravi who acknowledged the presence of the Principal Rev. Fr Robert DSouza, the Vice Principals Mrs Belita Mascarenhas and Mrs Anita Thomas, parents, students and teachers. The Subject Teachers briefed about the Question Paper Pattern and tips for Board Examination and Annual Examination. The Exam Cell Coordinator Ms Gretta Menezes and Ms Roshni Jose presented the Examination Schedule with a detailed description using PPT. To help our students to achieve and become successful, Ms Anita Thomas, the Vice Principal briefed the general guidelines with set rules and regulations to groom the students to be able members of the society.In the Questionand Answer Session, the parents felt free to put forward their views and appreciated the teachers. Mr Vipin, Director of Allen Coaching Centre, addressed the gathering and briefed on the examinations for JEE and NEET.
The Principal in his message said that the bond between the parents and children should be the bond of love and respect. He motivated the students to do better and become diligent and disciplined. He warned on the use of social media and safety of their ward. He told the parents to monitor their child’s progress and guide them through this stressful time. He urged the students to study, to grow in values, obey their parents, shine and achieve their goal. He concluded by thanking the parents on behalf of Lourdes Central School for being present which shows their respect for the school and love for their ward which will bear fruits for them.
The Session ended with the vote of thanks by Ms Shamitha Machado, Ms Anitha Menezes and Ms Sharmila Colaco. The programme was compered by Ms Shaila Pereira, Ms Deepa D’Souza and Ms Reema DSouza.
