Teachers Day Celebrations 2023

A teacher plants the seeds of knowledge, sprinkles them with love and patiently nurtures their growth to produce tomorrow’s dreams.

LCS teacher’s day was held on 5th September 2023. The program commenced with the prayer song led by the school choir. Students of class 10 welcome the gathering with a welcome dance. The comperes acknowledge the presence of Rev Dr John Baptist Saldahna, the manager, Rev Fr Robert Dsouza, the Principal, Rev Fr Arul, Dn Leston, Ms Belita Mascarenhas and Ms Anitha Thomas, the vice principals. Amoura Pinto of class 10 delivered an insightful thought. The significance of the day was read by Samantha of class 12. Followed by a floral tribute to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The manager in his presidential address emphasized on the bond between teachers and students, how teachers mould the students in the right path, help them imbibe moral values etc. He greeted the teachers and wished them the best on behalf of the whole Lourdite Community. The students of class 11 and 12 showcased their gratitude to the teachers through a humorous skit. The school choir wished the teachers through a melodious rendition which was a treat to the ears. The program came to an end with the vote of thanks by Arjun Kumar of class 12. Mridula, Veeksha and Anna of class 12 were the comperes.

A friendly cricket and throw ball match between teachers and students was held. The teachers emerged victorious in both the matches.
