World Computer Literacy Day 2022
Access to computers and the internet has become a basic need for education in our society.- Kent Conrad.
During the morning assembly programme conducted by class X A, Siddarth G student of class VIII D addressed the students by raising awareness on ‘World Computer Literacy Day’.
“World Computer literacy day” is celebrated annually on 2nd December instituted by N.I.I.T in 2001. This was created in honor of the company’s 20th anniversary and as a way to increase Computer literacy among the people, especially women and children.
This is a generation where half the work is done by or on computers. A computer literate country with proper access to the Internet is a step towards development. Today a computer is an important part of a person’s lifestyle. Computers have shortened our work drastically and have assisted us in several ways. Computers now do all the challenging work. The Human world is ever developing, and computers are the future, so let us make the best use of them.
We are extremely lucky that we have access to technology that defines our present and also our future—wishing a very Happy International Computer Literacy Day to all.
