Report on, “Save the Nature, Save the Earth” of KG 1 and 2
Earth was created for all life, so we need to preserve and nurture nature for our future generation. With this thought in mind the Kindergarten Section with the guidance and support of the Management of Lourdes Central School introduced the project, “Save the Nature Save the Earth” for the month of July. The students and teachers held the Grand Finale on 29th July, 2017 in the Auditorium. The Kindergartners through their action songs and play projected the importance of trees and how to save the nature for the existence of life on Earth.
The programme began by invoking God’s blessings by students of KG 2 followed by an action song by students of KG 1 and thereafter a play and Grand Finale song by KG 2. The Principal congratulated the organisers and students for showing the importance of nature through their programme. In his message he insisted on saving the nature and keeping the surrounding green and clean. The principal and the Vice Principal congratulated and presented awards to the winners. The Principal Rev Fr Robert Dsouza along with Vice Principal Ms Belita Mascarenhas, teachers and students planted a sapling as part of the project.
The programme was well compered by Keerthan of KG 2B and the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Linette Periera.
In the month of July in connection with the project the KG section conducted competitions for all the students of KG, Colouring for KG 1 and Drawing and Colouring for KG 2 on 15th July 2017. All the students participated actively and positively.
