Parent – Teacher Interaction 2023-Class 7

The Parent-Teacher Interactive Session for class VII was held on 7 June 2023 from 8.30a.m. to 9.30a.m. in the Audio-Visual Room. The programme began with the Prayer Song by the students of class VII. Ms Vivita DSouza  welcomed Rev. Fr  Robert D’Souza, the Principal, Ms. Belita Mascarenhas  and Ms Anita Thomas, the Vice Principals, the parents and the teachers. Self-introduction was then given by all the subject teachers.

Ms. Gretta Menezes, Exam Cell Coordinator acquainted the parents with the academic assessment and competency based assessment pattern for the year 2023-24. Ms Anita Thomas, Vice Principal briefed the parents about the school rules and regulations. She stressed on discipline, self control, socially acceptable behaviour, punctuality and uniform code.

The queries of parents were clarified wisely by the Principal especially on the third language. Most of the parents were pleased at the smooth functioning of the school and appreciated the meticulous work of the principal.

Election for the Parent Representative was conducted and following are the names of parents volunteered for the same.

Class VIIB – Dr. Sunayana Bhat  – Parent of Thwisha Bhat

Class VIIC – Mrs. Rashmi Nithyanand – Parent of  Prashasth Naik

Class VIID – Mrs. Neethi Shetty  – Parent of  Nandana Acharya

The Principal Rev. Fr Robert D’Souza urged the parents to spread positivity in their ward’s mind and encourage them to be disciplined. He spoke on happy classroom, happy school and happy homes which will create peaceful atmosphere and raise the standard of LCS. He also asked them to feel free to meet him if need be.

He requested the parents to compulsorily send 2 tiffins filled with enough quantity of nutritious food along with the water bottle and a handkerchief with their ward. He urged parents to frequently check their ward’s school bags too. He stressed on car-pooling to avoid the traffic jam.

He thanked the parents and looked forward to their whole hearted support for the upcoming Silver Jubilee programmes.

The session concluded at 9.20am with the words of gratitude by Ms. Asha Shet, the interactive session was compered by Ms Rekha Naveen.
