Parent – Teacher Interaction 2023- Class 8

The Parent-Teacher Interactive Session is a forum for teachers and parents to work in collaboration for the holistic development of the students and the school community.

The Parent-Teacher Interactive Session for class VIII was held on 6 June 2022 from 9.30a.m. to 10.30a.m. in the Audio-Visual Room. The programme began with the Prayer Song by the students of the choir group. Ms Lavina Serrao welcomed the august gathering, Rev. Fr Robert DSouza, the Principal, Ms Belita Mascarenhas  and Ms Anita Thomas, the Vice Principals, the parents and teachers.Self-introduction was then given by all the subject teachers.

Ms. Gretta Menezes, Exam Cell Coordinator acquainted the parents with the academic assessment and competency based assessment pattern for the year 2023-24. Ms Anita Thomasbriefed the parents about the school rules and regulations. She stressed on discipline, self control , social acceptable behavior , punctuality and uniform code.

All queries of parents on curricular and co-curricular activities were answered and doubts were clarified by the Principal.

Election for the parent representative was conducted and following parents volunteered for the same.

The Principal Rev. Fr Robert DSouza urged the parents to guide their ward to study for 2 to 3 hours every day. He shared the joyous news of 100% result of the previous batches of classes X and XII. He requested parents to make their ward responsible, disciplined, punctual and self reliant. He asked the parents to encourage children to do self study and avoid sending them to tuitions. He also spoke about hormonal changes in the students and requested parents to give extra attention and healthy nutritious food to their ward. He requested the parents to compulsorily send two healthy tiffins along with a water bottle and a handkerchief. He told theparents to be vigilant  andfrequently check their ward’sbags. He requested the parents’ continuous support for the upcoming Silver Jubilee programmes. He thanked the parents and looked forward to their whole hearted support.

The session concluded at 10.30am with the words of gratitude by Ms Seema Madtha, The interactive session was compered by Ms Dilla Colaco.
