Awareness on ill effects of drugs
Lourdes Central School organised a Session on the ill effects of drugs for the students of class IX on 19th December 2023 in the A V Room under the guidance of the Principal Rev. Fr Robert DSouza. The programme began at 10.30p.m. with the prayer song sung by the school choir. The dignitaries from Kadri Police Station Mr Yogishwaran, Sub Inspector of Police and Mr Naresh, Beat Officer were given a warm welcome. The Principal honoured Mr Yogishwaran with a shawl.
Mr Yogishwaran addressed the students of class IX and asked them a few questions on crime, drugs and mobile phone. He gave the students an awareness on how to follow the law and not to involve in fights. He stressed that because of the negligence of children, the parents face the consequences. He urged the students to think twice before doing something, respect their parents, teachers and elders and avoid doing wrong things. He appreciated the students of Lourdes Central School for having no complaints or any issues of breaking the law.
The session ended with the vote of thanks.
