The birthday of our dear manager Rev. Dr. John Baptist Saldhana was celebrated on 29th Octoberat 8a.m. in the school lobby. It was a joyful occasion where the LCS family came together to greet and wish father manager. Rev. Fr. Suraj Lobo ,Rev. Fr. Anush Dcunha and Vice Principal Belita Mascarenhas were present.
The programme commenced with invoking choicest blessings on our manager with the universal prayer, followed by the prayer song by the school choir. Amna Javed of class XI A welcomed the gathering. Following a floral welcome by the Principal, Rev. Fr. Robert Dsouza. Ms. Dilla Colaco and Srijth Hedge of class XII A conveyed their birthday wishes on behalf of the teachers and students.A mesmerizing wishing song delighted everyone. The Principal Rev. Fr. Robert Dsouza appreciated the manager’s simplicity, work ethic and uniqueness. Also admired the school development work undertaken by him. Father Manager expressed his joy and thankfulness for the wonderful programme. He asked the students to have faith in themselves, as it illuminates the pathway in times of darkness. He motivated the students and assured his prayers and support. Sarah Mathew of class X C delivered the vote the thanks. The star of the day was presented with potted flowering plants by the students. The programme was compered by Fariza Farooq of class XII B.
