Career Guidance Programme for Class 12

Lourdes Central School organised a Career Guidance Programme for class XII on 24/07/2023. The programme began with the prayer song led by the students of classes XI and XII.

Thanvi Bhat of class XII B welcomed the gathering. She gave a brief introduction of the resource person Mr Ronald Pinto.

Speaking on the occasion Father Robert D’Souza, Principal of Lourdes Central School thanked Mr Pinto for sparing his valuable time to conduct a seminar. He also thanked Lions Club Centennial Mangalore for conducting the career guidance programme. He urged the students to make wise decisions for their future.

Mr Ashok Pinto, President, of Lions Club Centennial Mangalore, gave brief information about the organization and thanked the school for the opportunity to hold the programme.

The seminar began with an activity, “ice-breaking song”. Students were introduced to the new world of competitive exams. Mr Pinto stated that competitive exams are vital to get a job. Various competitive exams in medicine, engineering and commerce were also discussed. The question and answer session helped the students to clear their doubts.

Seminar concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Rhea Michelle Sequeira of XII A. Vice-Principal Mrs Anita Thomas felicitated the Chief Guest. Master Atherva Ganu conducted the programme.
