Children’s Day Celebration 2022

EVERY CHILD IS A DIFFERENT KIND OF FLOWER AND ALL TOGETHER MAKES THIS WORLD A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN

Lourdes Central School celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November, 2022 in the school grounds. Staff of LCS had organised a meaningful assembly for the students. Programme started with a prayer song followed by intentions read by Ms Noeleen Pais and Father Arul Joseph. To begin the programme, Mr Girish S. presented the thought for the day.

Guests for the programme were Deputy Head Boy Master Saaket and Deputy Head Girl Miss Portia. Ms Gretta Menezes welcomed the gathering. A floral tribute was paid to the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru by all the dignitaries. Ms Deepika Fernandes spoke on the importance of celebrating 14th November as children’s day. Ms Theresa Monteiro had words of appreciation for the students.

Principal, Rev Father Robert D’Souza spoke on the occasion and urged the students to be confident and take up their responsibilities. Children’s Day song was presented Mr Ivan Mascarenhas and team.

Spot games were conducted by Ms Lolita, which children enjoyed the most. Programme concluded with the vote of thanks.
