Class 7 Picnic 2023
“Nothing better than a picnic.” — Zooey Deschanel.
Lourdes Central School organized a Class Picnic to the students of Class 7 to Aryaan Resort, Udupi on 4th November 2023. 152 students attended it with the respective Class teachers, few subject teachers and an ancillary staff.
A short assembly was conducted. Important instructions were given to be followed by all the students. With invoking God’s blessings and the assurance of Principal’s support, everyone boarded bus. Their excitement was at an all time high. The three buses left at 8:30a.m. It was a wonderful time travelling in the bus singing songs and tapping the feet.Finally the buses reached the resort around 10:15a.m. At the entry, everyone was given a handband for identification. Sandwiches were served with Mango juice. Then the fun began. They started swimming in the pool, going down the slides and dancing to catchy songs. Then it was time for lunch. Gobi Manchurian and Chicken Kebab were served with fried rice.
The fun continued after lunch, playing and enjoying in the pool . Then it was time for the students to change into the regular uniform. They quickly lined up for the evening snacks. They were served Onion Pakoda and watermelon juice.
The students assembled once again in the grounds of Aryaan Resort. Mr. Ivan Mascarenhas started the thanksgiving prayer for this successful trip. The class teachers ensured all the students were present. Everyone boarded the buses and returned to the campus happily enjoying the return journey. The students gathered in the school grounds, recited the prayer and were then sent home with their parents.
The class teachers and co-class teachers of Class 7 remain grateful to Fr Principal for all the support given for the picnic to be a grand success.
