Finale of Independence Day Week – 2023 (KG section)
In the fabric of our nation, soldiers and freedom fighters are the threads woven with courage and honour. Let’s celebrate freedom and embrace the joy of being Independent.
In connection to Independence Day and to inculcate the spirit of patriotism and recall the sacrifices of our great freedom fighters, LCS Kindergarten conducted various activities for the students. KG 1 children had Fancy dress on freedom fighters and National leaders, KG 2 students had Patriotic singing.
Students from Kindergarten took part in large numbers with great zeal. We could see the great talents of the little ones. The competition brought out their artistic skills and gave them an awareness regarding freedom struggle.
The programme was held on 14th August 2023 in connection to the Independence Day in the preprimary hall. The parents were present in large numbers to see and encourage their little ones. Song sung on patriotism and dance performed expressing the joy of Independence by the kindergarten children. The winners of the various activities were honoured by our Vice Principal Ms Belita Mascarenhas. She motivated the children that we should show respect and love our country. She asked questions regarding Independence to the children which they answered confidently. She also appreciated the parents for being present and encouraging the little ones.
The programme was compered by Ms Jenifer Menezes expressing gratitude to each one. Refreshments were served to the parents and sweets were distributed to the little ones.
At the end everyone had a feeling of pride to be a citizen of beloved and rich country India
